Sparkling Rosé Tea Mimosa

Big T NYC's Healthy Twist On Mimosas For Beach, Brunch, or Basically Anytime.

So excited to introduce our newest tea-infused cocktail: the Sparkling Rosé + Tea Mimosa! This tea recipe is made with our Unexpected Fling Organic Green Tea, fresh strawberries, and sparkling rosé wine for an unexpected, delicious, healthy take on the average mimosa.

WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU:

  • Unexpected Fling Organic Green Tea - Adds a boost of health + flavor. The nuances of rose, cherry + organic green tea add a subtle fruity-floral complexity to this delicious cocktail. This green tea is also packed with antioxidants to fight free radicals, rich in EGCG to boost metabolism and burn fat, and in general is a great hydrator - to help minimize (or eliminate!) tomorrow's hangover. Yep, we're always looking out for you!
  • Sparkling Rosé wine - Also contains some antioxidants (hi Resveratrol!) but it's really our favorite because it's low in calories and is oh-so-classy. A 5 oz glass of rose contains only about 82 calories!
  • Fresh organic strawberries - Provides a healthy dose of Vitamins C & E to help boost the immune system.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

1 cup of Unexpected Fling Organic Green Tea

1 cup of sparkling Rosé wine

1 cup of organic strawberries

Organic liquid sweetener if preferred (ie: honey or agave nectar)

DIRECTIONS:

1. Make Unexpected Fling Organic Green Tea:

  • Iced Tea Directions: Scoop 2.5 tsp (approx 5 g) tea leaves into strainer. Pour 1 cup (8 oz) fresh, filtered hot water at 180°F over tea. Let steep for 2-3 min then remove tea leaves. Add 1 cup of ice.
  • Cold Brew Tea Directions: Place 2 cold brew tea sachets into pitcher, add 2 quarts fresh, filtered water. Refrigerate 8-16 hours, then removes sachets.

2. Make Fresh Strawberry Juice: Wash organic strawberries, remove stems and cut into small pieces. Add 1 cup of cut strawberries + 1 cup of Unexpected Fling green tea to blender and blend.

3. Pour the tea-infused strawberry juice into champagne glasses.

4. Add sparkling Rosé wine, fill to taste (add sweetener if preferred).

5. Garnish with fresh strawberries.

A Heartwarming Wedding Story from an Island Getaway
A Heartwarming Wedding Story from an Island Getaway

2019 was a big year for me... I got engaged to the love of my life, Matt, and we married at the end of November. It was the most beautiful, special day of our lives, surrounded by the people we love.

In the days after the wedding an article was being shared on Facebook about the significance of our special day. Happily indulging in my wedded bliss, I hadn't been on social media and didn't see the article until my friend sent it to me directly. I was blown away.

The article was written by Ellen Futterman, a woman who happened to be vacationing at the same place and same time that Matt and I were getting married. She beautifully and eloquently captured the spirit of our celebration. It's a special piece that I will cherish forever.
