Mr. Earl Grey Hot Toddy

Whether you’ve got a case of the sniffles or are just in the mood for a little whiskey in your tea cup, our earl grey-infused hot toddy recipe will make you glad it’s cold outside.

What you'll need [Serves 2]:

Directions:

  • Bring water to a boil in a saucepan 
  • Remove the water from the heat and let cool for about 30 seconds (to bring the temperature down to about 208 F)
  • Scoop loose leaf tea into compostable filter and pull drawstring to close 
  • Add the tea filter bag to the hot water, cover and steep 4-6 minutes
  • Remove tea, then stir in the lemon juice and honey
  • Add 1 oz of whiskey to each mug and pour the tea mixture over each
  • Garnish with a slice of lemon if desired
