Big T NYC is a wellness-driven organic tea company on a mission to enhance people’s lives with great-tasting, health-promoting teas + tisanes. Our vision extends beyond superior products to nurturing and honoring our planet through social and environmental sustainability efforts. We believe this is not only good business practice, but that it is our duty as global citizens to protect the natural resources that we all share.
Our environmental initiatives are focused on reducing our footprint through:
- Supporting sustainable farming by sourcing exclusively Organic, non-GMO ingredients, free from harmful pesticides
- Minimizing waste with packaging that is reusable, refillable, recyclable and/or biodegradable
- Conserving natural resources by reducing unnecessary travel, and choosing efficient shipping and distribution methods
- Driving sustainable development in all areas of our business
- Educating and encouraging customers to recycle and reuse our packaging, and compost their tea leaves and filters
- Continuously striving to improve by reassessing our progress towards these goals regularly

2019 was a big year for me... I got engaged to the love of my life, Matt, and we married at the end of November. It was the most beautiful, special day of our lives, surrounded by the people we love.
